Well lightly I've been in a golf groove. I have been spending so much time looking and researching anything that has to do with golf. Even with all this snow coming down and all the excitment in the NBA, I'm all about the links right now.
My most recent purchase I've made to my 2012 Golf Bag make over is the new Taylormade RocketBallz Driver. I had a good hour session with the club and once all the golf balls were hit, this was the club for me. Well the world has finally witnessed what I believed in years ago...Jermey Lin! I have been a Lin fan from days when I kept tabs on him at Harvard University, where he wasn't recruited by any big D1 schools, so he signed with an academic scholarship instead. Basically building the program from the ground up, Jermey Lin made it the school that it is to day (ranked 23rd in the nation) and definitely left his mark!
When he went undrafted in the NBA, I followed him through his journey with Dallas in the summer league where he showed that he belonged in the NBA and eventually signed with his home team the Golden State Warriors. I bought his jersey online ASAP once the news spread.
Jermey Lin is just a great story of what hard work can do in the world today. If you work hard good things will happen. Lin had so many doors closed on him, but he put so much effort into becoming a great basketball player and person he opened a lot more doors. Lin is humble and extremely greatful for everything he has in his life, and we should all be thankful for the life we have and keep striving for our goals and dreams.
I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to visit The Allen Fieldhouse and really take in the whole basketball experience in 2008. When you are just walking up to the building you can feel how much pride and basketball history is in this gym. KU Athletics put together a great video, capturing the true JayHawks experence. enjoi
2012 is the year for DC, as they start their Rediscover DC campaign. DC is making huge moves by filling the team up with two heavy hitters on the street scene in Mike Mo Capadi and Nyjah Huston. So don't be alarmed with people are rocking DC like its going out of style because its street cred just went up ten fold. enjoi
