"Um guys....Were in Denver...!"

So this is the road trip I’ve been looking to for all summer. This is a detailed post on our day-to-day adventures. The team roster on this blasty blast are my awesome friends Tyler, Michele, and Kait.

Monday
- Drove through the night, our first stop ‘1880 Town’ which was some sort of little town made to resemble 1880’s. We ended up eating breakfast on a train and taking some fun pictures. After that we drove to Mount Rushmore to take in the historical memorial site. We then went to Creek Crook which is a camp site we reserved and stayed the night. We roughed it out with a tent and sleeping bags, made supper on a grill over a fire pit and played the card game Euchre all night long.
Tuesday
- We then left to for Denver after the campsite hosted all you can eat pancakes. Today was the main even the whole crew was looking forward to The Great Hangover Tour! The concert with Kid Cudi and Asher Roth. We go to are hotel which was in down town Crown Plaza which was a sick hotel. We end up kinda getting screwed on a website deal but ended up moving up to a sweet room on the 19th floor after this mix up. The view was amazing on this floor but after we looked it was time to get ready for the biggest concert of the summer. The concert lived up to the hype, the venue was a great size it was very similar to the West End Culture centre in Winnipeg. We had amazing spot for the show about 10 feet from the stage and enjoying the performances. So the show started with the myspace famous group Pac Div and then followed by a great rapper/singer B.o.B. they were amazing opening acts with tons of energy and personality. The man we were all waiting for was next KID CuDI! It was unbelievable he had such a great planned show and performed such a good set. Kid Cudi is just so cool! Asher Roth was next and he is a talented guy with a lot of potential to make a real impact on hip hop.
Wednesday
- So today we slept in and woke up to go shop the strip where are hotel was near. We all picked up some sick gear and can’t wait to look fly (like drake sings). After the shopping we went swimming on the roof top pool at the hotel, which was fun and relaxing. We then go hooked up from a hotel employee Josip, to eat an a really nice Italian restaurant called “Vence Ristorante”. We all caught dolled up and not going to lie we looked “kinda like a big deal” ahahah The meal was amazing and we just soaked in all the culture the restaurant had to offer.
Thursday
- Today we went white water rafting in the Colorado Mountains down the Arkansas River. It was wonderful and thrilling experience going down class 3 and 4 rapids. The highlight was jumping of a rock cliff 25 feet high into the river. After rafting we headed to the USA Olympic training centre in Colorado Springs. We took a 30 minute tour and then toured the complex on our own. Now we just arrived in Thronton, CO for the big basketball tournament were here to coach!

Colorado was something else, but now its time to get down to business, winning ball games.
