My New Toy

There are a couple of things I wanted to do over the summer, and I can now knock one off the list. When me and Cam went down to Fargo to see John Mayer (that post will be up soon) we went shopping before hand. He was finding all kinds of deals but I was unlucky and couldn't find anything that caught my eye. So we entered the skate shop and my direct words to Cam were "should I do it and snap?" he responded with a head nod "Do it" followed with "I'm so jealous". So with the help of the worker, I put together my own complete. P-Rod is one of my favorite skaters, and Plan B is a new brand which is just starting to make it's way up. The board rides great and has some nice pop. Really excited to start skating again, now I just have to learn a trick or two ha ha. (Thats where you come in GBo) enjoi

Tee Time

Golf courses have been opening and it has been the earliest season kick off for quite sometime. I love golf, even with all the frustration of hitting the odd bad shot, ok..who am I kidding a lot of bad shots ha ha.  I'm going to start posting pictures and little game summaries of all the people I golf with over the season, the first dude I happened to go with was my buddy Ryan who I golfed with quite a bit with last year. We had a great time teeing off the season at the Steinbach Fly-In. The day started of nice and sunny with some wind, but those winds then picked up to 50Km on the back nine making it quite difficult. I ended putting up a 98, it was painful but motivating to get my game into gear. enjoi

John Mayer Live Winnipeg?

So tonight is a big night for a lot of my friends as they get to go see my favorite artist of all time John Mayer at the MTS Centre. I remember when I first found out he was making his return to play his new album Battle Studies and marked the ticket sales date in my iCal immediately. If you know me, you know I play on an amazing basketball team called MOBB and we are currently are in the final four of the Division 4 playoffs (why is MOBB taking Div4 so serious? Why not..) and had a huge conflict with the game and the concert because they are on the same night!  I was doing some searching online this past weekend and found out John was playing in Fargo and was fortunate enough to convince Cam to go to Fargo with me to catch Mayer live there! (birthday gift for Cam) So my floor seats at the MTS Centre maybe be used tonight, but I get to sing-a-long tomorrow and a mini-roadtrip. Stay tuned because you know Sungknows is going to drop it like it on Fargo, North Dakota Style ha ha haha.

Mayer Hawthorne - I Left My Heart in San Francisco

My buddy Tyler saw this artist first hand and got to hang out with this Mayer after the show. I understand why he said, he's so cool to chill with after watching this video. Hawthorne does a nice rendition of Tony Bennet's Classic "I Lift My Heart in San Francisco". The ballad is amazing, and who doesn't love san fran and skateboarding! enjoi

Looking at a Winners

Today is a great day, not only is it Easter (HAPPY EASTER EVERYBODY!) but two of my favorite athletes were Winners Winners (jamie foxx & JT reference). 

The first was my boy Andy Roddick put together a great run at the ATP Tour Sony Erikson Open. He upset the former number 1 Nadel in the semi's to set up the final against Czech's Tomas Berdych. This Roddick's second Sony Erikson Open title and is looking like great form right now, all the hard work to improve and make his game more versatile is playing off! Congrats to Andy.

The second, was my asian pride on the PGA Anthony Kim. He believed in himself when nobody else did and won in the first playoff whole in the final round, to claim the Shell Houston Open. What a day in sports and it is only the beginning, we still have the NCAA Women's Final Four tonight! 

New Blog: Remember When...

So I have always been into media design, from photography, video, graphic design, and fashion. So I thought I would start up a new blog to show case some of my work. The title of the blog is called "Remember When.." I got the idea from one of my favorite comedy show's Friends. The way they title every episode with "The One With..." and with my own play on words I thought "Remember When.. " would be a good fit. It is up and running so check it out.
